The Role of Music in Nation Building: and the need for change in the music industry

The music industry!!! One of the most powerful tools for influencing, governing, and changing the mind and destiny of the people/nation....  As soothing, comforting and divine as the sound of a song can be to the soul, it can be very devilish and a dangerous tool in the wrong hands. We claim that we are building a nation but are we? how is a nation built? I feel that influencers (public figures) play a huge role in making or building a nation. By influencers, I mean musicians. Today the fastest way to become a huge influencer is Via the music industry, they make songs and the world is careless of where the inspiration of the song comes from or even the person of the song (the Spirit of the song) or the Singer. Music plays a huge role in making and building a culture or vibe to sway people...Guess what? an average kid in Nigeria can sing a whole album and know almost every word of the songs... I am not trying to talk down or bad mouth musicians, but, most of what is taught...

God fixed CIDM problem

God fixed CIDM problem It was the first semester of my second year in my HND program I had paid the fees for the previous session but was unable to print my course form without which my name would not area in the score sheet, I kept trying over and over again but there were no changes, so I went to the School Authority in charge of the school portal and payment related issues (CIDM) no student ever wishes to have any CIDM related issue, its usually and now I had one.  I reported the issue and I was asked to print out the error page and to bring proof of payment or payment receipt… I did that and was asked to check back, and that it would be sorted … after that, I checked back another day and was asked to bring the required documents (same documents) as proof to work on… this process happened over and over again … I got tired of having to go there … I was staying at Sango and my classes were always held at the south campus … On a good Wednesday I was assigned a task in the campus fe...

The Power of Your Will

Your will to live can sustain you when you are sick, but if you lose it, your last hope is gone. (Proverbs 18:14 GNT) All right I learned something new... A principle. It’s about the will of a man's heart in alignment with God’s word... The principle states (paraphrasing). The will of a man (human) will keep him even in sickness (in fact, it can sustain you through life and its challenges through everything), and when the will of a man is lost he cannot recover (such a person is lifeless.)  Oh! my God!
